Overland Journey to Ladakh - 9 nights / 10 days

Trips Details :

Day 01: Manali – Jispa 145 Kms/ 5-6 Hrs

  • Early morning Leave for Jispa, cross through Rohtang Pass (13050 ft) enter the Lahaul Valley, visit Raja Gyepan temple at Sissu Village. Have lunch at Keylong. Post lunch drive to Jispa. O/N Jispa.

Day 02: Jispa to Tsomoriri:

  • Early morning after breakfast, leave for Tsomoriri by crossing Baralacha Pass (16020 ft) a beautiful drive on high altitude to be remembered for a life time, Nakeela and Lachangla Pass 16,617 ft and than  passing through Skyangchu Thang (Plateau on a stretch of 42 Kms),O/N Leh

Day 3 Tsomoriri to Leh 330 Kms/ 10-11 Hrs

  • After breakfast proceed for Leh town. The drive from here is relatively smooth and from Upshi onwards we drive alongside the Indus river. On arrival in Leh check in to the hotel. O/N Leh.

Day 04: Leh - Nubra Valley 120 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs

  • After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, also known as Valley of flowers via Khardungla, the highest motorable road in the World, (18,380 ft). On your arrival in Nubra Valley check in the hotel / camp. Lunch will be provided by hotel/camp at Nubra.
  • After enjoying lunch proceed to enjoy walk on the banks of Shayok river, you can also enjoy a ride on double humped camel on the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. O/N Nubra Valley.

Day 05: Nubra Valley – Leh 120 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs

  • After breakfast, visit Deskit Monastery (Big Buddha), it is a picturesque monastery settled atop a hill and offers an overwhelming view of Nubra Valley. Later, drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass.
  • The afternoon is at disposal, you can visit the Shanti Stupa by owns and click some beautiful shots of Sunset in Leh Valley. O/N Leh.

Day 06: Leh - Pangong Lake 140 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs

  • After breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, via Changla Pass 17,350 ft, It is the third highest motorable road in the world. Pangong is a salt water lake, shared by India and China. Hot lunch will be served by hotel/camp.
  • Later at free time one can leisurely enjoy the color changing lake of blue and green on a rusty background while the setting sun teases you with awesome vistas which is simply breathtaking. O/N Pangong Lake

Day 07: Pangong Lake – Leh 140 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs

  • Early morning enjoy the overwhelming view of Sun rise on lake. After breakfast, drive back to Leh, enroute visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. O/N Leh.

Day 08: Leh 104 Kms/ 5-6 Hrs

  • Morning after breakfast, proceed for Leh city tour, visit Hall of Fame Museum, it pays homage to the martyrs of Kargil war. Spituk Gompa, Leh Fort and Shanti Stupa located at Changspa, on a hilltop.  In the Evening enjoy free time at leisure. O/N Leh.

Day 09: Leh – Sham Valley – Kargil 230 Kms/ 6-7 Hrs

  • After breakfast, leave for Kargil, enroute visit Magnetic Hill & to Alchi Gompa, Post lunch proceed for Lamayuru, on the way enjoy glimpses of Moon landscape, visit Lamayuru monastery and Giant Maitreya at Mulbekh. Arrive Kargil by evening. O/N Kargil.

Day 10: Kargil – Srinagar 204 Kms/ 6-7 Hrs

  • After breakfast, drive to Srinagar passing through Drass, you can view the famous Kargil war peaks, Tiger Hill and others from Vijay Memorial Hall. Reach Srinagar by afternoon. Journey ends here with drop off at Hotel / Houseboat.

  • Prices valid for minimum 02, 04, 06, 08 & 10 pax traveling together in one vehicle.
  • 100% payment to be deposited before the trip starts.
  • Payment in Leh office should be Cash Only.
  • Final Confirmation will be provided on full payment.
  • Vehicle is provided as per the mentioned tour plan (Point to Point Basis only), not on disposal.
  • No Refund or Compensation for any unused services / transportation in any circumstance.

Cancellation Policy for Land Package

  • 10% cancellation charges if cancelled 30 days prior to the start of tour.
  • 25% cancellation charges if cancelled within 20 days prior to the start of tour.
  • 50% cancellation charges if cancelled within 10 days prior to the start of tour.
  • No refund for tour starting within 09 days, after starting or middle of the tour.
